It’s award season again and although the latest runway shows in Europe didn’t offer any extraordinary inspiration for hair, the Grammys and Golden Globes did touch on some looks that will easily inspire you to wear.

Although matching facemasks were the most essential accessory at the award season 2021, the focus on hair was soft and nurtured styles, a great contradiction to the otherwise over length of fingernails resembling claws.
We noticed soft feminine chignons, loose natural waves, and braids. The most important observation was nurtured hair, no stiff lacquered do’s of the past, all nurtured and living heads of hair as we believe hair should be at Iles Formula. Here are a few of our favorites.

How sweet is this natural chignon on Elle Fanning posted by her stylist @smanthamcmillan for Golden Globes 2021. A perfect fit to this delicate robe by Bora Aksu FW21.

The spun silk Cindarella locks of Ann Taylor-Joy were sublime against her Dior gown. Wouldn’t you agree?

Ciara Louiza known as the next big thing in Hollywood was adorable with her chignon by @mararoszak Mara Roszak from Mare Salon who are big supporters of Iles Formula Finishing Serum. The soft luscious texture achieved with this serum was perfect for this hairspray-free Hepburn /Bardot-inspired style.

This was probably the last glimpse of Billie’s green and brunette locks before transforming to a blonde. Hairstylist Mara from Mare Salon in West Hollywood was part of the Grammy’s team for Billie Eilish locks, we love it for the soft sumptuous texture.

Taylor Swift opted for sweetness in her hairstyle for this magnificent dress by Chloe. The braids on either side took on a macaron shape, fixed low, behind the ears. Again that fresh organic texture. We have been told by an inside source that Taylor is a user of the Iles Formula 3 step system. We hope that’s true.

Beyonce we have also been informed is a lover of our brand. If only our vessels could speak! Her natural texture was also the perfect contradiction to her otherwise very structured dress. The natural curl was evident under the controlled top sections and allowed to build up the volume in the shape of her Botticelli style.

Dua Lipa opted for sleek and straight, nurtured healthy hair. The ideal serum again for this frizz-free texture is the Iles Formula Finishing Serum. It’s a huge favorite amongst the celebrity hairdressers during this award season. It not only has an organic memory that obeys your every command, but it also delivers protection against heated tools + UV + color fade and humidity. If activated with heat, has the power to transform hair that feels like straw to sumptuous silk.

H.E.R.’s Grammy 2021 look is next to spectacular and an extension salon’s dream. Onyx waves flowing past her waist! Again beautifully nurtured, soft and silky. For this hair texture, we suggest the Iles Curl Revive Serum that delivers a cashmere texture, slightly weightier than finishing serum which is ideal for curl and natural curl.
And let’s include these beautifully executed bejeweled braids by @rachelaladdin on Tiara Thomas.
