Milan Fashion Week
First, let’s start out with Milan Fashion Week. Our two favorites from Milan Fashion Week are Versace and Gucci. Two shows that never disappoint and are always way ahead of their time.
The Versace show was a delight for the eyes, with its play on yellow hair color, as well as other fun colors that were used. Hair stylist Guido Palau attached colored hair extensions to create this vibrant style, are you loving it?

Meanwhile, Gucci was full of inspiration. We really enjoyed the retro glam vibe. It really gave the show a nostalgic feel. A nod to the past. The vintage inspired glasses and the headband accessories were key.
We found hair accessories to be a big focus this season. Everything from turbans, headbands, ribbons, and even hats played a big role for this seasons hairstyles.
London Fashion Week
London, this city is always bursting with cool style, and while the hair seemed more subtle than usual, it ended up being a beautiful array of jaw dropping styles.

We immediately fell in love with the revised 40’s style quiff of the Bottega Veneta show. The key to this style is the silk fluidity of the hair. The perfect styling product to achieve this look is the Iles Formula Finishing Serum. It delivers immediate control with that spun silk texture and controls flyaways.

This look for the Roksanda show is that perfect blend of silky smooth with waves, and we love the sleek deep side part. Our Iles Formula Finishing Serum is again the perfect option for adding the lustre and control needed for this style.
Meanwhile, Christopher Kane opted for the wet look, and we really enjoyed this current style. Always a good option for hot summer days or slick evening cocktails.
Finally, we cannot forget Preen. We love the effortless chic style of hair. The wispy and whimsical pieces that seems as though they have fallen throughout the day are perfect. Also, we cannot forget the 1 accent braid. How great is that?
In conclusion, we found these two shows to be packed with fun hair, with a retro feel overall. Accessories seem to play an important role this season, not only seen on the runway shows but evident also on the recent Grammy and Oscar red carpets. Which looks were your favorites?
