Balmain
The super "cool" vibe at Balmain was definitely easy on the eyes. The abstract hats and soft and shiny tones of the garments complimented each other well and we loved every bit of it. Take a look at some of our favorites:

Maison Margiela
Well one can always count on Maison Margiela to provide a show that stands out, and this seasons show upheld it's standards. We love the avant-garde styles that were created to match the graffiti style garments and backdrops.

Givenchy
Since the trend of the Couture Fashion Week was focused a lot on hats, head pieces, etc it was nice to see hair at Givenchy, even so a cropped bonnet found its way in. We love the on trend haircuts that were featured for this show. Soft and natural, lived in hairstyles is definitely what's on trend for the season.
Viktor & Rolf
The dresses at this show were all stunning and larger than life, all with their own special message. The hair, center parts with a very 'lived in' feel gave an ethereal vibe. To achieve 'lived in' styles like this, our Iles Formula Finishing Serum can be used to creates these waves. Applied to damp hair to begin the style, or to dry hair to wake your waves back up again, our serum will deliver beautiful results with shine and protection.

Schiaparelli
Always next level work from the runway shows of Schiaparelli, and this season aimed to please. Ringlet curls and futuristic head dresses were the looks we were drawn to. A perfect pairing to the garments, Schiararelli is always a fave.

Jean Paul Gaultier
It was so great to see the return of crimped hair at the Jean Paul Gaultier show. Beautiful bright colors crimped and decorated atop the head made for a colorful show. Along with all of the crimped styles, we also saw some detailed hats as well as paper wigs that made a huge statement.

Iris Van Herpen
For Iris Van Herpen we were super inspired by the "false bangs". We always love the idea of bangs and for many, cutting bangs isn't an option, so utilizing a "false bang" is always fun to try. Check out some of these false bangs from the runway. For more "bangs" inspiration, check out our journal post of this seasons trending "Micro bangs" HERE.

Christian Dior
You can always expect beautiful looks from Christian Dior shows. Head accessories again with these glitter caps gave a poetic feel to the couture, quite vintage and very feminine. We imagine them more modern over long natural hair, but even so, grouped together in the Dior circus theme it worked.

Valentino
Valentino also had some really great looks. We loved the simple center part slick back buns, paired with feathered eyes that mimicked fluffy big lashes. The star of the show, was this stunning head wrap that extended down to the top of the gown. Take a peek at these styles below:
