Oscars 2016 Best Hair
Oscar Hairstyles
Tilda Swinton looked spectacular with this titian red hair and turquoise pant suit by British costume designer Sandy Powell who paid tribute to the late, great, David Bowie.
Sometimes less is best in the hair department. This triple bun with accent on the back of head worked wonders for the beautiful face of Rooney Mara and her white laced gown.
Cate Blanchett appeared with her new short bob wearing pretty baby blue. Her shorter hair is very elegant, and works well with her Haute Couture dress and that elevated shoulder work.
Heidi coiffed by me ! I love it that Heidi took the risk to wear a dress so different from her usual Versace silhouettes, a soft floaty feminine violet Marchesa gown. She wanted pretty hair, but it had to be a style that would work well for her after-Oscars dinner with Elton John. I opted for this simple relaxed up twist, secured together with just a few long pins so that when it was time for a fast hair change the hair would cascade down into a relaxed beautiful loose style. We placed one side loosely behind her ear to show off her Lorraine Schwartz diamond jewelry. No products just my Iles Formula finishing serum that kept her hair looking soft like spun silk.
Jennifer Lawrence, do you like her platinum blonde or not ? Here it's pretty because the makeup makes it work, but overall I have a mixed opinion.
I loved the easiness of Sofía Vergara's ponytail. The slight volume on crown gave just the right touch of elegance for the Oscars occasion.
Charlize Theron was super elegant, I loved her look and that necklace!
Julianne Moore was exquisite with her groomed hair falling behind the shoulders of her Chanel gown.
Lady Gaga, I wish she was not so predictable with these Hollywood waves, although they are beautifully executed, it's time for something different, she is Lady Gaga after all.
