During the winter months, the hair can seem a bit dryer than usual, leaving you wanting to skip the use of hot tools.  Or at the very least limit how often you use them.  We get a lot of people reaching out to us about how to create beautiful waves without the use of hot tools.  In this article we are sharing with you a secret for going from the office, to the gym, and then out on the town for Day To Night:  No Heat Cascading Waves.  Keep reading to see how.

Day To Night: No Heat Cascading Waves

The Office

Oftentimes, our days are crammed with going to the office, then squeezing in a workout, then out with friends for dinner or happy hour.  On these busy days, whats the easiest way to preserve your hair all day and end the night with lovely waves?  Our easy to do Day To Night:  No Heat Cascading Waves is the perfect solution.  Good hair begins in the shower.  Start out using our Iles Formula 3 Step System for perfect hair all day long.

Day To Night: No Heat Cascading Waves

Follow these instructions for how to best use our Formulas:

1.). Start with our Haute Performance Shampoo.  It’s Sulfate Free + Paraben Free + Silicone Free for your benefit.  Add more water, not more product for an abundance of lather.

2.). Follow up with our Iles Formula Haute Performance Conditioner, apply to mid length and ends then comb it through using our distribution comb to ensure the product is delivered everywhere. The comb will deliver to roots the exact quantity needed.  Rinse thoroughly.

3.). Next apply our Finishing Serum.  The serum can be used on wet or dry hair to transform the hair into supple silk.

4.). Remove the wetness from hair with a good absorbant towel then allow your hair to air dry.  When the hair is at least 85% dry, secure your hair into a top knot at the high point of the head.  To do so, twist the hair until it coils, and finally secure the base with bobby pins.  Keep in mind, the looser the twisting, the looser the waves will be, and the tighter the twisting the tighter the waves will be.

The perfect recipe of the twist is to keep the hair not too messy. Don’t create a messy bun with hair in all directions  or your waves will be a disaster.

1/Add a band like you are doing a ponytail .

2/ Twist hair in a long soft sausage shape  and wind it in a clockwise or counter clockwise direction. Secure the ends neatly in place, not to have fishhook looking ends at the end of the day.

3/ Now your hair is set for the gym and then the office, here are some examples.

Immediately following work, you’re probably trying to squeeze in a quick workout before heading out for dinner with friends or family.  Keep your hair secured in the top knot.

After your workout and shower, ( don’t wet your hair ) release the top knot.  Use your Iles Formula Distribution Comb instead of a brush  or your fingers and a small amount of our Iles Formula Finishing Serum for final touchups.
