Glitz. Glam. Camera! We give you the play by play of how we prepped the beautiful Heidi Klum for 2 glamorous Oscar parties back to back (with a beauty change in between and looking as fresh as can be throughout!).
The Brief: The night included the Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Award Viewing Party, consisting of a very select group of elite guests, where Heidi is an annual attendee, and the famous Vanity Fair Party, a huge stylish affair where the Academy Award winners, fresh from the ceremony, partied on all night with Hollywood A-listers and fashion icons.
Heidi had decided on a beauty and dress change between both events. She called on Iles Formula founder Wendy Iles for hair and Linda Hay for makeup.

Look: Soft sumptuous hair texture with a winged black eye.
Heidi sat down ready to be styled with already shampooed and conditioned hair. It is no secret that Heidi is a supporter of Iles Formula, so for Wendy, it’s only about adding her ” go-to” finishing serum and attacking the blow-dry. She uses her trusty Dyson dryer as it’s lightweight, fast, and ionic so there’s no static on Heidi’s hair. Wendy always starts prepping the hair first so the base she is giving the hair can then “cook” so to speak, while Linda Hay does Heidi’s makeup.

Linda opted for a strong winged eyeliner, luscious lashes and a healthy glossy peach-coloured lip for Heidi.
The gown for the Elton John charity dinner was Jean Paul Gaultier, paired with Aquazzura heels, Tyler Ellis clutch and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
Heidi’s friend and influencer Italian Chiarra Ferragni was her date for this dinner that the 2 attended while viewing the Oscars directly from Eltons table..
Meanwhile, Wendy and Linda were sipping champaign watching the Oscars at the Sunset Marquis Hotel awaiting Heidi’s arrival for the hair and makeup change for the next party that evening Vanity Fair.

Look: Strong and sexy, a black-rimmed eye, extended out for added drama.
Channelling an 80’s bouffant half up, half down hairstyle with tons of texture and a touch of chaos to show off Heidi’s ingenuity and spontaneity, Wendy used the Dyson Air Wrap, over her base of the first hairstyle for the evening. The Air wrap is perfect for creating spontaneous volume and curls alongside her go-t0 serums that she creatively cocktailed to obtain this sexy and tousled texture. Not a drop of other styling products in sight. Wendy is known for working quite organically with hair depending 100% on her craft and her two favoured serums. She does not touch a head of hair without one of them. They have heat protection +UV and humidity protection all without ever weighing the hair down. The memory these serums provide to hair is very practical for a hairdresser as the hair can be moved and reshaped anyway at any time without any resistance. “These serums have hair obeying ones every wish” say’s Wendy.
To complete the look, Linda used Beauty Counter’s Statement Eyeshadow Palette and Color Outline Eye Pencil in Black to line Heidi’s eyes. For her luscious lips, she used the “Twig” lipstick, topped with “Bellini” Lip Gloss. All from Beauty Counter.
