Antonio De Luca
It all began with an unbreakable love for beauty and fashion, the first Sex and the City movie, and a vision, to underline the beauty of every woman in the most natural, flattering way.
Antonio never fights against natural beauty but highlights special features that make each and every one of us beautiful.
He creates brightness and depth, works with light and shadow, and integrates even the in Germany so hated white hairs.
In Antonio de Luca’s salon, you will never find striking and one-dimensional colors. Through the year, he and his team travel to Milan- the place where beauty is born. Milan is the place where he absorbs new trends, that he integrates into his salon.
“Si vede e non si vede” – You see it but can’t see it. That’s a De Luca Hair client.
1. What, in your opinion, is your professional strength within the hairdressing trade?
I genuinely would say that learning and practicing in Milan makes me stand out from other hairdressers in Germany and the world. Our haircuts, balayage, and hairstyles speak for themselves and distinguish us from others. Even the philosophy behind our gray hair coverage bases on a completely different concept.

2. What’s the most enjoyable part of your job?
When I paint and cut the hair of my clients.
3. Why did you choose the path of hairdressing, and was it easy to fall into this work?
Fun fact: I was 19 when I decided to become a hairdresser. I was always keen and interested in fashion and beauty. But I never imagined starting a career in the hairdressing industry. I remember going to a salon, looking for the most beautiful staff member, and getting my hair done by her because, as mentioned above, I was always keen on beauty. This was my first true experience with a good hairstylist. Her consultation was extraordinary, and I instantly fell in love with her knowledge and her vision of me and my hair. When she was done with my transformation, I was so happy and felt more handsome and confident than before. So I told myself: This is it. This is what I would like to do. I wanna share my vision with my clients so that they can love themselves even more and that they see what I see: the potential of seeing gorgeous results.
And the rest is history.
4. If you had not made the decision to be a hairdresser, what would you have been?
Something that has to do with handcraft, for sure. Because I love the idea that god-given hands create something eX1raordinary.
5. What is your greatest strength
My faith in Jesus Christ.
6. Your favorite hairdressing tools?
It’s like asking me which part of my body I need the most. I love every single tool that I need to create my vision of painted hair.

7. Tell us about your relationship with ILES FORMULA. How did you discover us and which formula is your favorite?
As a great lover of Heidi Klum’s look, I always kept an eye on Wendy. When I saw that Wendy had a product line of her own, I was surprised and curious. Jana of ILES FORMULA contacted me and sent me a few samples – while in lockdown. When the nightmare of shutdown salons was over, we tried the products and instantly saw amazing results that the product line achieved.
Out of the whole amazing product range, it’s very hard to pick one- I would say it’s the masque
8. What was the most challenging job you ever had?
A bride. I won’t say more. (He’s smiling brightly)
9. If you could style anyone’s hair, who would it be and why?
Sarah Jessica Parker. Because she is the essence of what I love.
Heidi Klum – She already has an amazing hairstylist, but please: can we share? 😉
10. Where do you pull all hair inspiration from?
Italy. Their sense of hair is beyond amazing. The hair culture is unique on the planet. No need for perfection. Proportion, light, and texture – that is what it’s really about.
