The most enjoyable part of my job is seeing my client’s face when they love their hair. After all, we do this job to bring out the beauty of the person sitting in our chair.
IF: Why did you choose the path of hairdressing and was it easy to fall into this work?
I came to love hairdressing overtime. My great grandmother was a tailor. My mother taught me how to sew. My grandpa was a baker. I always loved working with my hands. Then I started to get creative with how I wore my hair, and that’s when my passion for hair started to grow.
There have definitely been ups and downs in my career. The beginning was very rough. It was hard, but that makes you stronger and determined. You can’t have thin skin in our world.
IF: If you had not made the decision to be a hairdresser what would you have been?
