IF: Tell us what you think is the biggest challenge in hairdressing today other than COVID-19?
I think Instagram has opened up so many creamy light color trends but of course, I think managing client expectations of what natural actually is.
IF: What’s the most enjoyable part of your job?
Maintaining and curating the overall look.
IF: Why did you choose the path of hairdressing and was it easy to fall into this work?
It all started with my mum’s hot rollers and the 70s glam.

IF: Your advice to young hairdressers starting out?
Don’t just be good and follow what is ‘now.’ Look back and learn past skills. It will better shape you for change and for when the style tides turn.

IF: How has Covid-19 changed your vision of the hair industry today?
Perhaps keeping it all a bit more realistic and natural because who wants to be all dolled up with nowhere to go.
