We’d like to introduce as our Iles Formula Women feature  Vanessa Kandiyoti, a fine jeweller based in London turned meditation teacher and author of her debut book, The Jewel Process. She was on the original designers who brought the evil eye into prominence over a decade ago. Through her own experiences in launching her jewellery business which was subsequently stocked at some of the world’s leading stores, ranging from Net-a-Porter and Liberty all the way to boutiques across Europe, USA and Asia, she went on to write her first book ‘The Jewel Process’ to help entrepreneurs-to-be to find the confidence to launch their own businesses and create something that feels meaningful and empowering.

What makes you the happiest?

I love washing my hair, visualising all the energy I no longer need going down the drain. It’s a proper cleanse. Having good hair makes me happy too. Being surrounded by the people I love on a good hair day is heavenly.

My hair never looks the same after I wash it. I now let it do its things and trust that it will fall into place. Always.

Being a woman in 2019?

Being a woman in 2019 is about doing the inner work to become more conscious and empowered. We now have the option to let go of limiting beliefs as to how we have to look or live. It is for us women to embrace our own personal beauty, our power, as well as our femininity without giving into what we think will attract men. Once we honour ourselves, there is no question that it enhances our beauty.
