Eugene Souleiman never fails to deliver something new. Here his version of ” new goth ” for Yohji Yamamoto.
Givenchy : Guido Palau also never disappoints us and stays true to his signature “shag” shapes. The short textured wigs have been placed over long hair.
Mui Mui : with gelled front sections and center part, offering a clean silhouette for winter shoulders and necklines.
MONCLER GAMME ROUGE : clever braiding. I love it, clean and modern. I like the way the braids cover the hairline, gives an almost Gothic feel.
Loved the sharpness of Saint Laurent. Modern and slick. All top surfaces were gelled away from the face.
Method:
Section the hair into 3 parts. Part 1 is a panel running through top center to just under crown of head, pin away. Second section is below the nape pin away. Take the 3rd section that runs through the side and middle of head and create a tight ponytail.
Next drop section 1 to cover the tail and section 3 to lengthen the tail. Blends by combing all sections together
VALENTINO : couture chignons, worked perfectly for this timeless collection.
KENZO : very creative “hot water bottle” shape with back combed texture and style.
OFF-WHITE : I love that “poetry” on the crown area.
Sea slick waves for Stella McCartney by Eugene Souleiman with a little poetry on one ear !
ISABEL MARANT : fresh and country style, with low side swiff attached with a pin. A modern take on retro 40’s.
DRIES VAN NOTEN : love the garcon look, low side part gelled to keep head shape to a minimum. Especially suited to the collection.
Do you have a preference ? Tell me about it.
