Mastering The Wet Hair Beach Waves Trend Like A Pro

When it comes to hairstyles, the wet look has taken the world by storm...There are many variations of this trend but one of our favorites is inspired by the loose permed hair from the 90's where you would literally apply gel and scrunch and let your hair dry natural.  They had the right idea back then, but to make it current now, it had to be recreated without the hair feeling crunchy and not movable.  In this weeks journal, we are sharing Mastering The Wet Hair Beach Waves Trend Like A Pro.

What You Will Need

To begin Mastering The Wet Hair Beach Waves Trend Like A Pro, it's important to note that using the right products and tools are what will set you up to win when trying to create this style.  With that being said, you will be needing a curling iron. The smaller the iron, the tighter the waves or curls, so go ahead and choose the size you prefer.

As you can see, each of the styles are a bit different, but what they all have in common is the wet and glossy finish over the subtle waves.  Here is what you need to know:

1./ After you have washed and partly dried your hair, add liberally our Finishing Serum, then  take your iron, and starting in the bottom and working your way up, alternate the direction of the curls, keeping the curls in the front directing away from the face. As the hair is still a little damp there will be some steam but don't worry our Iles Formula Finishing Serum has heat protection, so we have you covered. Once the style is completed add  more  serum until you get the dampness you require. Try not to touch or disturb your hair again, certainly do not comb or brush it...it's a finger job from here on in.

2./ Once all of the hair has been curled, you can use our Finishing Serum to polish the look.   Apply liberally to the hands,  and begin to distribute the product through to the ends.  The Finishing Serum will allow the curl formation to stay put while adding the element of moisture to the hair.  You will love what the serum has to offer to this style.

That is really all there is to it.  Keep in mind you can even create this look if your hair is short, or straight and you want to give it the wet look.  Simply follow all of the steps and leave out the curls if your goal is to go for a straighter look.  Below are some more inspirations for your Pinterest.
