The Coolest Hairstyles of Fall & Winter 2021

We’ve been in the fall season for more than a month now. Summer’s hot heat dissipated as we welcomed the colder temperatures. As the appealing palette of reds, oranges, and browns continues to enthrall the visual splendor that marks fall – a season of change – a shift towards the dark, peaceful serenity of winter, the air smells of pumpkin.

The holiday season is approaching, and with it, the beautiful autumn and chilly winter months. It’s the ideal time to check out the hottest hairstyles from fall and coolest winter styles to better prepare for the soon arriving winter months.

Let’s get ready for the fall and frigid winter in style as countries prepare to open their borders raising hopes for more family reunions and parties. Check our curated lists of hottest fall hair trends and hairstyles that will be popular in the winter of 2021.

The Coolest Hair Trends of Fall 2021

Eye-sweeping Bangs

One of the hairstyles this fall is soft, eye-sweeping curtain bangs.

Keep your fringes just long enough to brush your eyes for a longer, sultry appearance. Always start longer and utilize a point-cut, according to stylists. If you have curly hair, don’t worry; this adaptable style allows you to have a mix of short and long bangs. Any hair texture will look great in this style. We love these braided pigtails too…. a great idea to keep long hair under control on windy, wet days. Keep them anchored low, just behind the ear, and keep the braid loose and not too restricted.

Bangs might require maintenance at home for that sharp look. To keep them looking excellent, you’ll have to style them on a daily basis. But don’t worry; all you’ll need is a brief spritz of water and a dab of our Iles Formula Finishing Serum to revive them and blow dry them back into place. This formula has the power to transform dry, brittle hair to sumptuous silk just by blow-drying it into wet hair. Not only does it protect your hair from heated tools +UV+ humidity, but it also delivers a memory to the hair that changes form as you ask of it, and lastly it delivers the most expensive-looking lustrous shine.

Curly Bangs

Another trend is to roll up grown-out fringes with hot rollers for this  70’s vintage-inspired style which will complement your look while drawing attention to your eyes.

It’s ideal for people who want a change but don’t want to cut their hair.

You can also choose lightweight formulas with no oils if your hair is dry and damaged, often hair oils are too heavy for fine hair when they’re potent, and this style requires light weightless texture.  Check out the Iles Formula Curl Revive and Finishing Serum which does just that. Especially if you’re styling your hair with heated tools, protect them with our serums that offer heat protection, UV protection, humidity, and color-fade protection.

Short Haircuts

Check out our recent journal post on the latest runway short haircuts.  They range from the buzz cut to urchin to a new take on short shag. They are predicting these shortcuts for Spring Summer 22, but we say why not now? We have always believed a small head shape is always on-trend when shoulder lines are wider and necklines are higher. Think 80’s.

French Bob

This cut is a classic and always seems to surface around winter. The length of this cut is perfect with winter shoulder lines, turtle necks, scarves, hats, and as many layers as you wish to wear. Remember Emily in Paris, where she wore this traditional Parisian women’s cut on screen?

This sophisticated and fashionable cut, which is usually shorter than a chin-length bob, looks great on all hair textures. Razored Haircuts, beach waves, and jagged short bangs are among today’s variants of the typically blunt French bob.

Thick, Full, and Healthy Hair

Hair that is thick, full, and healthy is once again in action. Beach waves are expected to fade this colder season in favor of a sexier bed hairstyle, according to stylists.  For some, the bigger the hair the better it is.

Use the correct volumizing shampoo and conditioner to add volume to your hair. When fine hair is treated with hair products that cause product buildup, it generally results in flat hair.

To help your hairstyle look as naturally textured as possible, take a peek at the Iles Formula Signature Collection. It’s a multi-award-winning collection of high-performance products that work well on all hair textures. These chemical-free products, when used together, give the most luscious, lustrous, and restored hair from the very first usage.

Accessorize a ponytail or even a bun on top of your head, which is one of our favorite features. Pull your hair back, leaving the fringe out, and you’ll have a wonderfully cute style. A low braided hairdo, a low bun, a high ponytail, a low ponytail, a scarf or hat, virtually anything will work. So don’t be scared to experiment.

Use our twilly to tie your hair. Our twillies are created entirely of French silk as part of a limited-edition collaboration with French artist Noémie Lacroix. It can be worn as a hairband or hair tie to elevate ANY hairstyle, around the wrist, or on your handbag as French women tend to do.  Twilly hair
