IF: Tell us what you think is the biggest challenge in hairdressing today?
Trying to navigate around the client’s unrealistic expectations and “the Pinterest world”.
IF: What’s the most enjoyable part of your job?
Making someone feel beautiful and confident!
IF: Why did you choose the path of hairdressing and was it easy to fall into this work?
I wanted to do something I truly loved. I definitely would say it is easy to fall into, building a career as a hairdresser takes years of growth, consistency, and motivation.
IF: If you had not made the decision to be a hairdresser what would you have been?
IF: What is your greatest strength?
My work ethic.
IF: Your favourite hairdressing tools?
IF: Tell us about your relationship with Iles Formula. How did you discover us and which formula is your favourite?
IF: What was the most challenging job you ever had ?
Being on site at a wedding and being told I wasn’t given the updated schedule and needed to get 12 girls done in 3 hours by myself.
IF: What was your worst hair moment and why…. privately or on set/stage or in the salon?
The ﬁrst few MAJOR color corrections I had to tackle and how discouraging it can be working so hard and not getting great results that day for your client.
IF: If you could style anyone’s hair, who would it be and why?
Samantha Ravndahl-favorite inﬂuencer, great hair, amazing person, we need to be friends!
Where do you pull hair inspiration from?
Other amazing artists in our industry! Always learning!
IF: Your advice to young hairdressers starting out?
Unless doing hair is 100% your passion get out now, you have to truly love this craft with all your heart to be able to build a career.
