In this week's Hair Talk, we welcome Jean Luc au Sablon, Hair Colorist extraordinaire from Place de Petite Sablon in Brussels, Belgium. Jean Luc is our first ambassador salon in Brussels, his specialty the ability to work with luminosity and color reflect transforming his color work to look so natural and healthy.
IF: Tell us what you think is the biggest challenge in hairdressing today?
Trying to recreate the epitome of hair beauty in terms of texture, color and shine.
IF: What’s the most enjoyable part of your job?
It’s not a job... I see it as creating a smile on my clients when the work is done!
IF: Why did you choose the path of hairdressing and was it easy to fall into this work?
For me, it was like an evidence, especially for hair coloring!
IF: If you had not made the decision to be a hairdresser, what would you have been?
An entertainer!
IF: What is your greatest strength?
Good mood!!!!

My hands.
IF: Tell us about your relationship with Iles Formula. How you discovered us and which formula is your favourite?
Since I am such a famous Hair Colorist in Belgium :) Wendy Iles decided to visit me to introduce her line and I just fell in love, not only with her. Ahahaha.... :)
IF: What was the most challenging job you ever made?
To be where I am now from where I came from.
IF: What was your worst hair moment and why?
When I was 6 years old, I tried to cut my own hair. Then, I just looked like an epic pork!!!!
