  • Apply to very wet hair. Add more water while massaging, not more product. Water is the key to activating an indulgent lather – an abundance of lather indicates correct usage of the shampoo.
  • In the case of hair breakage, we recommend a two-step cleanse. First shampoo with our Hard Water Shampoo, followed by a second shampoo using our signature Shampoo which is clinically proven to stop hair breakage when used together with our signature Conditioner.
  • Repeat if required. For very damaged or broken hair, we advise a third shampoo.

Yes. Our shampoo is sulfate free, however, it delivers an abundance of lather due to a root extract we use instead of sulfates. The secret to our shampoo is to add more water while massaging, not more product. The root extract buffs over damaged porosity bars on the hair shaft (particularly common in colored hair) so be sure to use it on the ends of the hair which need this nurture the most.
Iles Formula is most effective when used without other styling products like mousse or hairspray, as they may diminish the lustrous, sumptuous results our formulas provide. Normally this should not create a problem. However, as there are healing qualities in our Shampoo, please try the first shampoo without the pigment additive and add it to the second shampoo. Preferably use a brand with pure pigments that won't contradict the nurture our Shampoo is delivering to your hair.

    This hardwater shampoo is amazing. It makes my hair feel like it has been washed in soft water. My hair felt so soft and full of bounce again. I think it made my color look better too. Less brassy. I'll never be without this shampoo. Please offer it in a travel size!!

    FINALLY!!

    I have lived on property with a well for over 10 years now. I’ve tried countless hard water shampoos, packets, masks and shower head filters to combat the metals in our water (even despite having a water softener). I stopped coloring my hair because the color would almost immediately turn brassy and my hair just felt so dry. I purchased the signature shampoo, conditioner and serum about 6 months ago and loved the way my hair felt..softer, healthier, happier! So as soon as I saw the Hard Water Shampoo come out I had to try. My hair literally feels like it did before well water!!! I cannot believe the difference!
