Behind the Scenes with Lindsey Wixson
I loved working with beautiful #LindseyWixson in Rome and #FrancescoCarrozzini , son of Milan gallerist and long time fashion editor in chief of Italian Vogue #FrancaSozzani . The job was for #ErmannoScervino . You can view these beautiful campaign images by visiting my Facebook page.
#ChristineCorbel who was doing the Make-up and I flew from Paris over night to Rome for the shoot to our location in an ancient villa on the hills overlooking Rome.
Lindsey's hair was much longer than it looks here, the creative director wanted a shorter look, so I wound the hair up to appear a shorter hairdo. I dried her hair naturally then placed large rollers to take its form during makeup. On removing the rollers, I didn't brush the hair, but used only my fingers to create the style and a touch of matte mousse to give texture.
It was a short trip over night for a one day shoot, if my schedule allowed I would have stayed one more day to enjoy Rome. Lindsey was smart, she placed her schedule around a day of sightseeing.
