Berlin Masterclass By Wendy Iles

It took some time to load this article about my last Berlin Masterclass organized by Grande Maison and Peppermint Circus. Herewith a beautiful dedication to my students' work.

One of the biggest tasks for me at these classes is to teach students not to hide behind styling products, but to have trust in their craft. It's all about knowing what you want to achieve and perfecting the base of the hairstyle in preparation and the rest falls into place reassuring a very good hair day.

I travel the world doing a lot of celebrity endorsed beauty campaigns both celebrities and clients love that I don't use styling products. No hairspray and no mousse, I just use my Iles Formula Finishing Serum for 2 reasons. It's hair's best protector against heated tools and UV, it reassures every time a beautiful voluptuous spun silk texture perfection on film and also for life. If I can on set I use all  3 of my  formulas, but shampooing facilities are not always at hand.

I've haphazardly chosen eight images below for you , even so all the images were really beautiful.

Our storyboards covered red carpet hair, street hair, editorial hair, runway hair, and avant-garde hair. I also gave all my tips and tricks when working with wigs. We had themes and lots of models that we adapted to those themes, we had lots of extra hair to create what ever we desired to do.

I want to thank all the students who participated in this 2 day class. It was a great honor for me to work alongside each of you.  Your passion showed through and we did a great work!
