IF:  Tell us what you think is the biggest challenge in hairdressing today?

CP:  I’m the color correction “go to”.  Being the “911” colorist can always be a challenge.

IF:  What’s the most enjoyable part of your job?

CP:  Transformation.  Having people leave the salon with the prettiest polished hair color is number one for me.  Not only to address roots, but the middle and end are just as important.

IF:  Why did you choose the path of hairdressing and was it easy to fall into this work?

CP:  I’ve had a paint brush in my hand my whole life.  Decades later, hair became my canvas.

IF:  If you had not made the decision to be a hairdresser what would you have been?

CP:  Musician.

IF:  Tell us  about your relationship with Iles Formula. How you discovered us and which formula is your favorite?

CP:  Throughout decades of doing hair color, Iles Formula is the only thing I’ve used consistently and received positive feedback from clients.  No one leaves my shampoo bowl without all three steps.

IF:  What was the most challenging job you ever made ?

CP:  Color removing.  Taking someone from black to blonde can be a 10 hour job.

IF:  What was your worst hair moment and why….privately or on set/stage or in the salon?

CP:  Bleach and tone- When clients don’t take care of their hair, breakage falls on me.
