Iles Formula Hair Talk Featuring Dzenana Bacic of BACIC Salon. Dzenana Bacic is 28 years old, born in Bosnia and moved to Denmark when she was just 3 years old. She is the Owner of BACIC salon in Slagelse. Dzenana is one of the most in demand hairdressers in Denmark. Her clients are a mix of celebrities and women that want and know quality.

IF: Tell us what you think is the biggest challenge in hairdressing today?
DB: Standing out and being the best, making sure that the client knows that you are not like every other hairdresser in town.
IF: What’s the most enjoyable part of your job?
DB: I daily do makeovers, seeing the face of the client, some cry with joy, it makes my day, every day.
IF: Why did you choose the path of hairdressing and was it easy to fall into this work?
DB: My Grandfather and his Dad were hairdressers, my Aunt and her two daughters are hairdressers and my other Aunts daughter is a hairdresser also. It has always been in my blood, I could not run away from it.
IF: If you had not made the decision to be a hairdresser what would you have been?
DB: Salesperson of some kind, I love talking to people and convincing them that what I have is the best.
IF: What is your greatest strength?
DB: My patience.
IF: Your favorite hairdressing tools?
DB: My Framar foils, already cut, and ready to use. They save me so much time.
IF: Tell us about your relationship with Iles Formula. How you discovered us and which formula is your favorite?
DB: OneBlackCar gave me a sample of Iles Formula, and since then I was hooked. The look, the smell, and the lightness in my hair, love at first sight.
IF: What was the most challenging job you ever made?
DB: I had a client that came in like the 101 dalmatians, dots everywhere, wanting to be blonde, I did it. And im still talking about her every time someone thinks they have bad hair, I say, you have not seen bad hair, take a look a this photo.
IF: If you could style anyones hair, who would it be and why?
DB: Khloe Kardashian, because she is the person I show when a client comes in with black hair and wants to be blond in one day, I pull up Khloe's hair transformation over a few years, taking it slow and keeping it healthy. And because she is beautiful inside and out.
IF: Where do you pull hair inspiration from?
DB: Definitely Mounir from Lebanon, I think he can make any woman feel and look beautiful.
IF: Your advice to young hairdressers starting out?
DB: Be you, dont copy anybody, stand out and you will be seen.
