This weekend finished another season of New York Fashion Week. In this weeks journal we are sharing with you Best Hairstyles From New York Fashion Week 2019. Take a peek at some of our selections and let us know which ones are your favorites.
Our first selection from NYFW was the hair for Burberry. This intricate style created by the master Guido Palau was major. The intricate details made this look swoon worthy. It may not be one you wear to work next week, but definitely worth admiring.
Simplicity makes such a big statement and hairstylist Guido Palau did just that here. Of course we are very partial to the sumptuous spun silk texture, after all that’s the promise Iles Formula Haircare delivers.
This new take on a sleek ponytail with chains entwined added the most stunning detail to this look. Created by celebrity hairstylist Justine Marjan, it paired perfectly with the attire created by Christian Siriano.
These embellishment hair pieces were the center of attention at the Area show at NYFW. All of the hair pulled back sleek and tight allowed the embellishments to act as the hair and make the statement.

The undone texture for Kate Spade had such an effortless feel. It was especially nice paired with the satin turban placed atop. The touch of retro feel and the addition of turbans, hats, and hair pieces were all over the runways this season.
Adding onto the trend of texture were the brushed out voluminous styles created by Orlando Pita for the Michael Kors show. The hair for the show definitely had a 70’s disco era vibe.
Another trend we saw was bright mahogony/red hair like that of the image below from the Sies Marjan show. This color tone has definitely been trending this season and it made it’s way right onto the runway in multiple shows.
The Rodarte show was another one that played off of texture for the hair. This show was different with it’s light and airy bouncy curls. Perched atop the curls, a lovely head piece of butterflies for the perfect finish.
Crimped hair made it’s way to the runway this season. Crimping the hair is one thing, but then brushing out the crimped waves is a must.
Oscar De La Renta
The hair for Oscar De La Renta was created by Odile Gilbert. Odile’s creations are always beautiful and the hair for the Oscar De La Renta show was feminine and very wearable. There is that hue of red again.
That is our pick of most interesting heads at NYFW. We hope you enjoyed. Which ones are your favorites? Let us know in the comments below.
