Cheveux Chéris at Musée du Quai Branly Paris
An interesting exhibition on hair ranging from themes of intimacy, seduction, religion, sociability, culture, rebellion and belonging. Especially well curated was the tribal section devoted to Mana associated with magical objects or trophies made up from hair. Here is one of my most preferred images, but overall thought what was missing was a reference to hair of today.photo Neal Barr from 1964.
