Braids have been and continue to be one of the biggest trends in hair right now.  With so many different variations being created, it's no wonder they are the hairstyle women of all ages are swooning over.  In this journal, we are sharing with you some inspirations for Braids You Have To Try Now.  Some of these styles may be a bit of a challenge to create yourself, but pin these to your Pinterest page and bring them with you to your next hair appointment and perhaps your stylist can recreate it for you.

Before we begin sharing some of our ultimate Braids You Have To Try Now, we want to emphasize how important preparing the hair is.  Be sure to apply a strengthening and nourishing product to the hair, especially if your plan is to wear the braids for an extended period of time.  We like to recommend starting off with our Iles Formula Shampoo and Conditioner.

Prepping the hair with the right shampoo and conditioner will keep the hair stronger and more protected, and your hair will need it, since it will be pulled tight and create a lot of tension.  After cleansing and conditioning, we recommend using our Iles Formula Finishing Serum.  This will most importantly protect the hair, but also  helps to control the hair while braiding, eliminating frizz and allowing for a clean finish to your braid.

Accent Braids

One of our favorites of  all of the variations is cornrows.  Keep it simple with just two rows, or add extra rows for another option. Combine different types of braids and enjoy the different textures it creates.  Some of our faves are listed below.

Ponytail Variations

Ponytail Braids are another fun option.  Create the ponytail out of a braid, or use braids to decorate the ponytail.  Again, you can also choose to combine different types of braids and you will have a style your friends will be asking all about.  The juxtaposition of the different types of braids laying next to each other results in each braid emphasizing and complementing the next.

Micro Braids

This is a great way to add length to your hair.  Wear them down, or create fun styles.  Either way, they are pretty low maintenance.  We are absolutely in love with the idea of pulling them up into two buns on top of the head.
