Casual and comfortable, or a bit more on the dressy side? Whatever is your preference, we have some chic hair inspirations just for YOU. Most importantly, we want to be sure you are spending less time on your hair and more time with family this holiday season. So we have taken the guesswork out of deciding what to do with your hair. These are our Holiday Hairstyles Made Simple that will have you looking and feeling your best without the fuss. We're going to share how to get your own quick version of these gorgeous hairstyles.
The Chignon
The Chignon is the first of the Holiday Hairstyles Made Simple. It seriously is one of the easiest. It can be done on medium to longer lengths of hair, and can be placed pretty much anywhere on the head. What we love about this hairstyle is that it really can go with anything you are wearing. If you are casual, its perfect and even dressed up, it compliments nicely. This hairstyle should literally take 5 minutes. Start by securing your hair into a ponytail where ever you want the chignon to sit on the head. Then, slightly rough up the texture of the hair by teasing the ponytail. After you have done that, simply twist the hair and wrap it around the ponytail, securing with bobby pin.
That is it! It will be the perfect style if you are the one doing the food preparation and cooking, because it keeps your hair up and out of the way. Here are a few variations of this style.

No Heat Waves
Another easy option, is No Heat Waves. This style is super simple to do and your hair is literally styling itself while you sleep. You going to be super busy the morning of the holiday, so taking time to shower and do your hair may just not be an option. So get your shower done the evening before. Take the time then to blow out your hair or even quickly dry it. Use our Iles Formula Finishing Serum on your hair after it is dry, this will help to control frizz and give you the control you need in the style.
The next step, can be done one of two ways. Start by sectioning your hair in half as if you are doing pigtails. Next, you can either twist each side into two low chignons and secure with an elastic for more of a loose curl, OR you can create two loose braids on each side of the head and secure with elastics for a more beachy style.
Either look is a win. Keep in mind, the bigger the sections and looser you wrap, the looser and more natural the curls will look. The smaller the sections and tighter you wrap, the tighter the curls will be. Then, get some beauty rest, and when you wake up, keep it in the set until you are ready to do your hair. Then release the wraps. Use a bit of Iles Formula Finishing Serum to rake through and detail your style. It really is that simple. This allows you to put all of your focus into preparing for your Holiday Feast. Here are some inspirations...

Big and Bouncy
Of all of the Holiday Hairstyles Made Simple, this is one that may take up a bit more of your time. Great for you ladies who love to spend time looking your best on the holidays. Want to limit the amount of time you spend on this style day of, we will also share a few tricks with you on how to do that.
For this look, get out those hot rollers. Thats right, dust them off, cause we are going to be using them. The trick is to make sure you shower and dry your hair the night before, this saves you that step in the morning. Then, in the morning place about 8 hot rollers strategically around your head. The sides and back place horizontally, and the top place horizontally going away from the face. Leave out the ends for a softer look.
Want this look while you sleep? No problem, get some sponge rollers from your local target store, and roll them in your hair after you blow it out the night before. Sleep in them and then take them out when you are ready to do your hair the next day. Use Iles Formula Finishing Serum to define and separate the curls. Finally, add a bit of back combing for volume in the crown. Here are some of our Big and Bouncy inspirations.

Smooth and Sleek
This next style, may or may not be easy depending on how straight or curly your hair already is. As with the other Holiday Hairstyles Made Simple, we recommend washing and styling your hair the night before. You can also go to your favorite Blow Dry Bar or Salon and receive a blow out the day before. This will be a small price to pay to eliminate a lot of time styling your hair the day of. Whichever option you choose, when you wake up your hair will only need small touchups for the big day.
If you want it sleek or smooth but want to wear it back, follow the steps above, and then all you will have to do to get ready is simply pull it back. You can DIY or invest about 45 dollars and have someone do it for you the day before. Either way, it saves lots of time day of.

The Ponytail
The next Holiday Hairstyles Made Simple is the Ponytail. You can never go wrong with a ponytail. Its quick and easy and looks great dressed up or casual. What if your want curl or waves in your ponytail but morning of you really just want to be able to pull it back and be done with it? No problem, follow one of the day before no heat curls techniques from above. Then when you wake up, you will literally pull out the set and tie it back.
Are you bummed because your ponytail is never full? Try this trick, separate your hair in half from ear to ear. Secure the top half away. In the bottom half, create a ponytail just above ear level, and then do the same thing with the top half, just above the bottom ponytail. This makes your ponytail look thicker and fuller. Add a little back combing for more fullness.

Au Naturel
Finally, the easiest of the Holiday Hairstyles Made Simple, is going all Natural. Go with your natural born texture. This is super easy because you can shower day of in the morning, use a bit of Iles Formula Finishing Serum, and literally let your hair dry the way it wants to. Does this sound frightening to you? Are you the type that constantly works against your natural texture and smooths or blows it our every single day? Well this may be a good time to try something different.
If your hair is very curly, you can twist large sections in varying directions once the product has been applied and let it dry that way. This will give the hair some control as it is drying. If your hair is not as curly, you can also try this technique as it will manipulate the hair and give it a bit more wave. Either way, once the product is in and the hair is set, keep your hands out of it until it is at least 85% dry. Then you can go in later and break it up just before your guests arrive.
If you find that it still needs a bit of detail, no worries, take out your curling tong (iron) and use it to detail just a few pieces. Who knows, you may find this to be your new favorite way to style your hair, and this is a good thing because curls and natural texture are all the rage right now.
