Lynn Felix: I am a passionate creative hair artist for over fifty years who prides myself on always learning the latest techniques in the art of hair.
I have trained, owned Hair salons and have lately placed in the top 25 and 100 in the One Shot Hair Awards. 

Working at a forward moving Salon in Scottsdale Az. , RyanMScottsdale and using Iles Formula for 7 years since the salon opened. Without a doubt is the best Haircare product I have ever used!

  1. What would you term as your specialty within your trade?

Hair cutting. And Styling.

  1. What’s the most enjoyable part of your job?

Creating new laws to is on clients and introducing them to Iles Formula, which is a game changer

  1. Why did you choose the path of hairdressing and was it easy to fall into this work?

Doing hair was a gift from God! I knew I wanted to do hair since the age of 7 years old .
Falling into the work was a little luck and mostly perseverance. My beauty school had me enter competitions which I won first place. Then went on to work for an international company and trained other stylists, opened up 5 hair salons in the 80’s, and I still love doing hair and making people feel transformed

  1. If you had not made the decision to be a hairdresser what would you have been?

A hairstylist, never a doubt in my mind.

  1. What is your greatest strength? 

The ability to think out of the box.

  1. Your favorite hairdressing tools?

All my scissors and razors , and Iles.

  1. Tell us about your relationship with Iles Formula. How you discovered us and which formula is your favorite

I discovered when I started working at Ryanmscottsdale for the last 7 years. I love the Iles Formula Kit, and the hair and body mask.

  1.  What was the most challenging job you ever made?

Owning Hair Salons.

  1. What was your worst hair moment and why, privately or on set/stage or in the salon?

When I worked for a company and at 19 years old they told me to go down stairs in the department store where the Salon was a fine a sort presentation on hair trends and I was not prepared , when it came time for me to speak, nothing came out of my mouth. After that I was always prepared.

  1.  If you could style anyone’s hair, who would it be and why?

Joan Jett, would love to cut her trendy Shag.

  1. Where do you pull hair inspiration from?

Everywhere and everything!

  1. Your advice to young hairdressers starting out?

Start in a good salon that provides training and up to date in formation , and one that is in a good location such as Ryan M Scottsdale. Never give up
