  1. What would you term as your specialty within your trade?

Adding movement to hair through my technique

  1. What’s the most enjoyable part of your job?

The people. I've been blessed to meet people from all walks of life with different hair who all desire hair that allows them to live their best life. Seeing their Smiles.

  1. Why did you choose the path of hairdressing and was it easy to fall into this work?

I always Joke that I didn't choose hair, it chose me. It found me at a low time in my life were i was looking for meaning. It delivered! Hairdressing is more than work for me its a passion... My assistants and wife would call if an obsession. lol

  1. If you had not made the decision to be a hairdresser what would you have been?

Either a Chef or a Sculptor

  1. What is your greatest strength? 

Listening. A haircut is a work of art, as much as its an individual representation, it's a collaboration, and exchange of energy. 

  1. Your favorite hairdressing tools?

My Scissors.

  1. Tell us about your relationship with Iles Formula. How you discovered us and which formula is your favorite?

I loved brand from the first time using it.
Curl Revive stays in my kit no matter the job, big or small its a must have for me.

  1.  What was the most challenging job you ever made?

Flat ironing Vera Wang's hair for her run way show. It was first big moment, where the manifesting, all the sleepless nights, hard work and belief became reality.

  1. What was your worst hair moment and why, privately or on set/stage or in the salon?

So many to choose from! its not about the failures but how you get up. haha.
I recently got sent an old photo of me from an old colleague.
Early 2000s as an assistant in at this small mom and pop shop in the Bay Area....my hair..the hair.. lets just say if I had a time machine. thats one of my first stops lol.

  1.  If you could style anyone’s hair, who would it be and why?

Vidal Sasson. I would love to pick his brain.

  1. Where do you pull hair inspiration from?

Everything. Im so Aquarius... how much time do you have? lol

  1. Your advice to young hairdressers starting out?

Never give up. Never let anyone tell you you don't belong. You can have anything you want in this world if you work hard enough. and lastly, The universe is always conspiring for your greatest good so.... never give up.
