Perfect hair didn’t create Iles Formula. Compromised hair did.
It was not perfect hair that inspired me to create formulas. It was the opposite.
It was the compromised hair sitting in my chair that pushed me beyond my comfort zone.
Throughout my career I was fortunate to work with extraordinary people around the world, but the reality behind the scenes was very different from what people imagine.
The hair arriving in my chair was often exhausted. Years of color changes, heat styling, extensions, chemical treatments, travel and constant transformations had taken their toll.
My challenge was never simply to style hair. My challenge was to bring hair back to life.
I needed to take whatever condition arrived in front of me and create something exceptional.
That challenge pushed me into the world of formulation because I could not find products that delivered what I needed. I did not want products that created the illusion of healthy hair. I needed true transformation.
Repair, softness, shine and strength — but always with movement. Always without weight.
The most compromised hair became my greatest teacher.
