Adding a scarf to a ponytail can be just the touch you need if you're feeling bored with you everyday ponytail.  Wrap it around the base of the ponytail or tie it into the chignon to add some dimension.

If your hair is not cooperating and you just want to cover it up, popping on a hat can be the solution. Keep your hair down or even tie it back if you prefer it to be out of your way.

Finally, adding in some decorative bobby pins or even a broach that was handed down to you from Grandma is a lovely way to decorate your hair and also pull it out of your face.  If you use bobby pins, add some dimension by placing the pins haphazardly, to create a not so perfect look.
