IF: What would you term as your specialty within your trade?
DD: Our specialty is to see the person we have in our chair, and give them a look that suits their personality.

IF: What's the most enjoyable part of your job?
DD: There is not a day there that is the same as yesterday, and it is always satisfying to make people happy.

IF: Why did you choose the path of hairdressing and was it easy to fall into this work?
DD: It wasn't a choice for us. From a very young age, it got our attention.

IF: If you had not made the decision to be a hairdresser what would you have been?
DD: It would definitely be something creative, where we work with our hands.

IF: What is your greatest strength
DD: Time is the greatest luxury you can give people, and we take the time it takes to get the best results

IF: Your favorite hairdressing tools?
DD: It must be our scissors.

IF: Tell us about your relationship with ILES FORMULA. How did you discover us and which formula is your favorite?
DD: We were on a course in Berlin with Wendy lles, she gave us a small package with the Shampoo, Conditioner and Serum, so we could try it. We were not looking for a new product, but it was perfect for both of us, and we fell in love ❣️

IF: What was the most challenging job you ever had?
DD: We wish there was a good story, but there is nothing that comes up. But when you have a bride you always are a little bit nervous.

IF: What was your worst hair moment and why....privately or on set/stage or in the salon?
DD: There are some, but right now nothing in particular springs to mind!

IF: If you could style anyone’s hair, who would it be and why?
DD: Kate Moss has always inspired us.

IF: Where do you pull all hair inspiration from?
DD: Magazine, courses, the street, and books with old-style icons.

IF: Your advice to young hairdressers starting out?
DD: Stay hungry - never stop learning!

IF: Apart from the drastic salon hygienic regulations, what changes to a salon’s every day business do you think will stay after the Covid-19 disruption?
DD: We think hand hygiene will stay, and if you catch a cold you will more likely stay home or wear a mask.
