How to get Marilyn Monroe Hairstyle

1/ Add a good size of hair mousse through the roots especially around the hairline where her style shows great structure.

2/ Using a comb, part the hair on one side and comb hair into the direction you wish to place the rollers.

One can use hot rollers on already dried hair or place rollers as Marilyn did onto wet hair. Be sure to use Iles Formula Finishing Serum before using the heated tools or blow dry, which will protect your hair from the heat and deliver a sumptuous spun silk texture to your "do".

3/ Be sure hair is well dried and cooled down before removing the rollers. If using a curling iron, I always find it better to clip the sections in place making a pretend roller shape until the hair has cooled.

4/ One can style with a comb or brush, but I always like to run my fingers through the style at the end to soften it up. At this point add more Iles Formula Finishing Serum to add more texture to the style and to protect it from humidity. A little wind from your blow dryer at the finish will give nice little accidents in the hair movement transporting it to a hairstyle of today.

So many of Hollywood and Pop culture have copied her iconic hairstyle. Below find several artists who have been inspired by Marilyn and her hair.
